at this amazing time of year.
i want to wish you all a happy easter.
as i contemplated on what to say today.
words eluded me.
it is so hard for me to share the emotions i feel for this holiday.
this holiday is one of my favorites.

then i remembered the first presidency's easter message.
and realized.....
this says it all.....

"At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).

Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in every deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ. Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend."

i'm so grateful to be a member of this church.
so thankful for jesus and the sacrifice he made for me.
for you.
for all of us.

i hope you all have a wonderful day with your family and loved ones.

i do.
the kids do.
daddy does.
we all do.

i just like life so much better, when we have a schedule.
a routine.
things just go smoother..
today
is day one.
of back to routine.
i scrubbed the house,
from
top
to
bottom.

my entire body is killing me.

but the house shines.
i love it.

today is freezing cold.

i hate being cold.

and
in 30 minutes.
i have to venture out into this cold.
to pick up boys from school.
and then i'm volunteering at the preK
for a couple of hours.
they better have the heat on.

i can barely move my arms
and i'm so incredibly
tired.
what a work out
cleaning house
can be!

my hands are raw
from scrubbing
and soaking
in strong
smelling
cleaners

but my house is clean

for
today
at least.

tonight for dinner.
i'm thinkin we'll
go super easy

and make
homemade
mac n cheese
corn bread
a veggie
and maybe
a hot dog or 2.

and although i'd love to stay up
and scrap
or design
or work on the computer.

i can't wait to climb into
my bed
with
fluffy
clean
sheets.

yay
for cleaning
day!

a lazy week indeed.....

been married 14 years today.
nearly half my life..
(okay not really-but in a few more years it will be....)

i know that i am blessed.
to have him in my life..

here's a fun note/tag

in my arms tonight....

(jenna fell asleep in my lap as we cuddled on the couch tonight.... she was so tired from her big day today.)

but she insists that she IS BIG now that she is four,
and didn't like me calling her my baby.

i can't decide if i'm excited or upset that she is getting so big, so fast.

i love her at this stage...
and can't wait to watch her grow.

but i know i'll miss her being little.....
luckily she'll always be my baby...
whether she likes it or not!

this morning jens was up.
bright and early
(well okay 7:30am- that's early for him)
he was dressed, hair combed and bed made...

came downstairs and was like..
hmmmmmmmmmmm
'what is today?
seems like i forgot something..'
hmmmmmmmmm

little turkey wanted to be smothered with birthday wishes..
which linney and i did immediately just to humor him.

but in all reality
i did KIND of forget.
or i wanted to forget a little bit..
these kids birthdays come too fast
and last
wayyyyyyy
too long!
LOL

i can't believe my baby is going to be 4.
4!!!!
she's getting sooooo big!
