YES, we are dressing up. *gulp* it is hilarious.<br /> i'll be sure and post pics tomorrow.<br /> <br /> then it was already after 2pm and i was NOT going to go home, just to have to turn around to come pick up the boys. so we went to target and hobby lobby.<br /> <br /> jenna needed new shoes really bad. all she has are 2 pair of crocs, one green, one pink.. i decided with the weather getting colder she prolly needed some sturdy tennies. so to target it was. got her 2 pair. some tennies and some black sunday shoes. which will work perfect for her christmas clothes too.<br /> (that's where the stamping shoes comes in to play.) jenna loves tap shoes, but doesnt' have any.. she's dying to be in dance and when we picked up these black shoes she automatically thought they were tap shoes but calls them stamping shoes and stomps all around the house in them.. (you should see my kitchen floor -black marks everywhere. oy!)<br /> <br /> found a cute holiday skirt for linney as well. and she picked out the sweetest knee hi socks to go with. got shirts for the boys, cuz i didn't want them to feel left out. candy for the boys classes at school and i can't think what else. only spent a small fortune.. HA<br /> <br /> picked the boys up to find jens shorts totally ripped in the back and lars shoes completely shredded.. nice..<br /> guess who else needs shoes now.<br /> <br /> oy.<br /> <br /> alrighty. i'm seriously going to make popcorn balls tonight.. been saying that ALL week but have yet to really do it. and i'm sure my neighbor wants her air popper back.. or a plateful of popcorn balls but i've yet to provide her either.. -J tag:www.crazyscrapper.com,2008-10-27:/crazyblog/article.php?story=20081027144141452 2008-10-27T14:41:41-06:00 2008-10-27T14:41:41-06:00 crazyscrapper times 2!<br /> <br /> <br /> lars' field trip was on tuesday.<br /> i was so lucky to get to go.<br /> i haven't been able to attend many field trips the last few years. due to, uh.<br /> having babies and living out of district.<br /> linney was spoiled. i never missed a single field trip of hers.<br /> i only go on trips with the boys if siblings can come, or<br /> i can find a sitter.<br /> they can be long days. usually 9am -2pm.<br /> luckily jenna had preschool this day.<br /> and andi watched her for the 2 hours after that.<br /> <br /> we got lost in the 2 mile corn maze. <br /> it kind of made me hate those things.<br /> lars was being silly and said he was a scarecrow.<br /> and i loved this pic of the boys walking with the mountains in the background.<br /> man, i love albuquerque.<br /> <br /> <img width="333" height="500" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_1.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> <img width="333" height="500" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_2.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> the pumpkins in the patch, were less then desirable. <br /> but the apples in the orchard were scrumptious.<br /> here's lars standing by the apple trees.<br /> yum.<br /> <br /> <img width="333" height="500" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_3.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> and here he is in the lame patch.<br /> seriously. this was like a one acre field with dead pumpkin vines.<br /> and when we first got there, we saw a truck with a huge crate on the back and some workers. taking these tiny pumpkins out of the crate and throwing them onto the dead vines.<br /> it was funny, but sad at the same time.<br /> oh well. at least i didn't have to worry about 110 - 6 year olds trying to carry pumpkins that were way too heavy for them.<br /> HA!<br /> <br /> <img width="333" height="500" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_4.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> he found one he was happy with.<br /> <br /> <img width="333" height="500" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_5.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> and most of his class found a pumpkin they were pleased with too.<br /> <br /> <img width="450" height="299" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_6.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> there was a lot of waiting on this field trip. this patch seemed to be kind of un-organized. 1st graders don't fair well to waiting for long periods of time.<br /> <br /> silly pumpkin<br /> <br /> <img width="333" height="500" src="http://www.crazyscrapper.com/crazyblog/images/articles/20081027144141452_7.jpg" alt=""><br /> <br /> they were standing in line. and having a hard time standing still. so i told the class to put their pumpkins on their heads. they obliged. silly guys.
