Science experiment day. I did NOT want my boys (to want) to do projects this year.. So I purposely let the deadline day come and go.. Neither one really cared. But then 2 days later Jens brought home a sheet saying that his entire class HAD to do a science project.. OY. So we'd put it off long enough, due in one week. We declared Saturday science project day. And low and behold it was actually fun... (for Jens) LOL

Sunday. I haven't taken a photo of the kids for quite awhile. It blows my mind when I see them all together like this. I love my little (er big) family. These kids are so awesome. I am so lucky and BLESSED to be their mom.

Jens moves up to scouts tomorrow. So today and tomorrow will be spent collecting proper uniform attire and sewing those icky patches on. (Lars earned his bobcat and I need to sew on that patch as well.)

Monday, Dreary Monday. Looking for ANY sign of spring.. But the trees are giving no glimpse of new sprouts or buds.. I NEED it to be warm already.

Before I headed to work (Tumbling) Jenna brought out the wood trains. We've had this set for YEARS! I'm so ready to get rid of it.. But every once in awhile Jenna drags it out and plays with it for hours on end.. So I guess I will keep it a while longer.

Jenna was invited to a birthday party at 'Stinky Cheese' (Chucky Cheese). So just her and I went out for the night. As one of her little prizes, she got these stuck on earrings. She loved them, they made her feel so big. Now she is asking for pierced ears for her birthday. We shall see what she thinks about that next week when I take her to actually get them done. ROFL

Reading today. I'm really trying to read my scriptures daily. I don't know WHY that is so hard to do. But I desperately need that guidance and peace in my life that daily scripture reading brings.. Today I read 3 nephi 12. (the beatitudes). One of my favorites......
"Blessed are the poor in spirit who come unto me, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
the sun has finally poked out from the clouds.
i hope the track meet is not
dreadfully cold.
but i fear
it just might be.
i'll be digging out
our blankets and winter clothes
for this one!
