Woke up to maybe an inch of snow today. The little kids couldn't WAIT to get outside. They played outside for about an hour. Until it all melted, or they used it all.

Sunday morning in our home. Church is now at 9am. I love it, and hate it at the same time. I miss sleeping in on the weekends. But there is much less chaos BEFORE church. And sunday afternoons seem much more peaceful. This is what my bathroom looks like after we leave. A tornado of hair products as I do mine, Jennas and both boys hair.

As I was cleaning today. I found this little scene in the boys room. Usually I just toss all toys in the proper buckets when I clean. But something stopped me today. Lars had taken the time to line them up all nice and neat. So I left them there. I'm always finding toys in the oddest places. And actually didn't mind these that much.

Jenna and I went to the library today. I picked up some books I had on order. It was a lot more than I'd remember putting on hold. Lindsey's class is reading a certain genre and most of these were on her book list. I like to read the books that she is asked to read. All these look pretty good. So I'm reading really fast. I already finished Princess Academy. And that was pretty cute.

Jenna woke up today saying her throat and neck hurt.
Tonight was a really rough night. I slept maybe 2 hours. She threw up at midnight and woke the next morning with a fever. I thought for sure it was strep. And yup.. I took her in the next day and it was indeed strep. yuck.

With a sick baby I have been enjoying the lazy days. We have been laying around, watching spongebob and reading LOTS of books. This is just one of the stacks that Jenna brought to me to read today. This book on the top was one of my favorites as a child. In fact this WAS the exact book I read as a child.. My mom gave it to me quite a few years back, and my children have loved it as well. I looked inside at the copyright date. 1975....35 years old...(I won't EVEN tell you how I figured that one out! LOL)

Jenna still didn't feel great today when she woke up. So I called her prek teachers and told her we wouldn't be attending the field trip. I was a bit bummed as it is one of my favorite concerts of the year. Frank Leto children's musician. He's a lot of fun.. It all worked out in the end. I am really behind on designing.. So as Jenna lay next to me, I cut my little fingers to the bone on February BYOC products.
